Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi said that Saim Ayub’s future is not at stake for the sake of Champions Trophy. His statement makes it clear that Saim Ayub will not participate in the Champions Trophy.
There is a fear that since he has not yet fully recovered, playing in the Champions Trophy may cause a re-fracture.
He said that I am monitoring Saim Ayub’s case myself and he is checking his health on a daily basis. In a couple of days, Saim Ayub’s plaster will be opened.
