The Pakistan Cricket Board and the Pakistan Super League franchises have agreed on a window from May 17 to 25 for the remaining matches. According to sources, it has been agreed that the remaining matches of the PSL, which were suspended due to the Pakistan-India tension, will be held in the third week of May. These matches will now be held during the window from May 17 to 25.

The Pakistan Cricket Board has suggested that the matches should start from where the series was broken, i.e. Rawalpindi and then the final matches should be held in Lahore, while some franchises have suggested that due to logistical issues, it would be better to keep a single venue. The final decision on the venue issue will be made after consulting the broadcast production team.

On the other hand, the franchises have contacted their foreign players for the remaining matches of the PSL and asked for their availability, to which some players have also indicated their availability. However, sources say that if the roster of foreign players is not complete, two proposals are under consideration.

According to sources, one suggestion is to hold a replacement draft while the other is to make a minor change in the law on the minimum number of foreign players in the final XI. Discussions are ongoing between the PCB and PSL franchises on all matters and a final decision will be taken soon.
