Dhaka Test: Pakistan Scores 179 for 1 in Reply to Bangladesh’s 413 Runs.

Pakistan scored 179 for 1 in reply to Bangladesh’s 413 runs in the first innings by the end of the second day. The entire Bangladesh team was dismissed after scoring 413 runs after the lunch break on the second day of the Dhaka Test. In reply, debutant opener Razan Owais made a 106-run partnership with Imam-ul-Haq for the first wicket, Imam was dismissed for 45 runs. Then, first-time Test player Abdullah Fazal came to the crease and added another 73 runs with Azan Owais for the second wicket. By the end of the day, Pakistan scored 179 for 1. Azan Owais is at the crease with 85 and Abdullah Fazal is at the crease with 37 runs. Bangladesh still has a lead of 234 runs over Pakistan.

Earlier, Bangladesh were bowled out for 413 in the first innings of the first Test match being played at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium. Captain Najamul Hassan Shanto and Mominul Haque were the standouts for the host team with 101 and 91 runs respectively. For Pakistan, Mohammad Abbas took 5 wickets, while Shaheen Afridi got 3 and Hasan Ali and Noman Ali got one wicket each.
