Australia Announced Squad for T20 World Cup

Cricket Australia have announced the squad for the ICC T20 World Cup, scheduled to take place in February 2026. Pat Cummins, Cameron Green and Cooper Connolly have returned to the squad after missing the recent series against India. Cricket Australia’s chief selector George Bailey said that Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood and Tim David are progressing well in their recovery, and the selectors are confident that all three will be available for the World Cup.

George Bailey added that this is a preliminary squad and changes can be made during the preparation period if required. Australia’s T20 squad includes captain Mitchell Marsh, Xavier Bartlett, Cooper Connolly, Nathan Ellis, Pat Cummins, Tim David, Cameron Green, Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Josh Inglis, Matthew Kuhnemann, Glenn Maxwell, Matthew Short, Marcus Stoinis and Adam Zampa. The chief selector also said that the squad for the three-match T20 series against Pakistan will be announced at a later date.
