Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc has announced his retirement from T20 Internationals with immediate effect. Mitchell Starc has decided to retire from T20 Internationals to focus on Tests and ODIs.
The 35-year-old fast bowler, who has not played a T20 international since last year’s T20 World Cup, will now be available for Australia only for Tests and ODIs. Apart from this, Starc will also continue to participate in domestic T20 leagues, including the Indian Premier League.

Mitchell Starc has said in his statement that Test cricket has always been my top priority. Starc said that I enjoyed every T20 match I played for Australia, winning the 2021 T20 World Cup was a special moment. Mitchell Starc played 65 T20 Internationals for Australia in which he took 79 wickets.
