FIFA President Gianni Infantino has announced that he will be visiting Pakistan in the near future. In an interview, he said that he had also promised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif that he would come to Pakistan.
Gianni Infantino stated that a new president has taken charge of the Pakistan Football Federation and is doing an excellent job. He described Pakistan as a great footballing nation and expressed his desire to see Pakistan emerge as a strong team in Asia, adding that efforts are already underway to achieve this goal.
