New Zealand defeated Pakistan 2-6 in the FIH Nations Cup hockey final. New Zealand put pressure on Pakistan from the beginning in the final of the ongoing event in Kuala Lumpur. In the first few minutes, New Zealand scored twice in Pakistan’s net, but both goals were rejected.
The New Zealand team started the scoring in the sixth minute, and the streak continued to increase. New Zealand scored two goals in the first quarter and two in the second I scored three and one in the fourth quarter. Pakistan scored their first goal in the third and second goal in the fourth quarter.
By winning the final, New Zealand retained the title and the winning team’s Nick Woods was named Player of the Match.
