Former Pakistan Test cricketer Wazir Muhammad has passed away. His nephew Shoaib Muhammad confirmed the news of Wazir Muhammad’s death and said that Wazir Muhammad passed away today in Birmingham. He was 95 years old.
Wazir Muhammad was a member of the Pakistani squad that toured India in 1952 and began his Test career for Pakistan during the tour of India. Wazir Muhammad represented Pakistan in 20 Test matches, scoring 801 runs with the help of 2 centuries and 3 half-centuries. Wazir Muhammad’s brothers Hanif Muhammad and Mushtaq Muhammad have also been Test cricketers.
