The International Cricket Council has announced the Men’s ODI Team of the Year. The ODI Team of the Year includes 3 cricketers from Pakistan, 4 from Sri Lanka, 3 from Afghanistan and one from West Indies. No Indian cricketer is included in this team.
Saeem Ayub, Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf have been included in this team from Pakistan. Afghanistan’s Azmatullah Omarzai, Rehmanullah Garbaz, AM Ghazanfar are part of this team. Sri Lanka’s Patham Nissanka, Kaushal Mendis, Charith Asalanka, Vinandu Hasaringa and West Indies’ Sharafin Rutherford have been included in the Team of the Year.
Charith Asalanka has been named the captain of the ODI team of the year, while Kaushal Mendes has been named the wicketkeeper.
