New Zealand’s defeated Bangladesh, Pakistan is out of the Champions Trophy

In the sixth match of the Champions Trophy, New Zealand defeated Bangladesh by 5 wickets and eliminated Pakistan from the semi-finals. In the match played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Bangladesh, while playing first, gave New Zealand a target of 237 runs to win, which the Kiwi team qualified for the semi-finals by losing 5 wickets and the defending champion Pakistan was eliminated from the Champions Trophy.

Pakistan suffered back-to-back defeats to New Zealand and India in both their group matches in the Champions Trophy, after which the national team’s entry into the semi-finals became conditional.

In order for Pakistan to reach the semi-finals, Bangladesh needed to beat New Zealand by a huge margin in today’s match, and India also needed to beat New Zealand by a huge margin. Pakistan also had to win their last match against Bangladesh by a huge margin.

The results of today’s match have eliminated Pakistan and Bangladesh from the semi-final race, while India and New Zealand have qualified for the Group A semi-finals.
