Pakistan team suffered a defeat at the hands of Netherlands in its first group match in the Pro League Hockey tournament. Pakistan hockey team suffered a 5-2 defeat against Netherlands, the first goal for Pakistan was scored by Hanan Shahid and then the next goal was scored by Safyan Khan. Even in the last 15 minutes, Netherlands maintained complete control and Pakistan could not get any chance to come back.
Netherlands’ Tijmin Rainga, who received the best player of the game award, said that it took us time to enter the match but we improved our performance with time. Pakistan hockey team will now play its next match in the tournament against Argentina on December 12.
