Pakistan will not participate in the opening ceremony of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup. According to sources, the captain of the Pakistan women’s team or any representative will not go to India, Pakistan will not be represented in the opening ceremony of the ICC Women’s World Cup.
The ICC has announced a grand opening ceremony for the India-Sri Lanka match in Guwahati on September 30. The ICC has also arranged a photo session and press conference with the captains of the participating teams along with the trophy.
Under the hybrid model, the Pakistan Women’s team will play its matches in Sri Lanka. The Pakistan Women’s team will travel from Pakistan to Sri Lanka for the matches. It should be noted that the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup is scheduled from September 30 to November 2 in India and Sri Lanka.
