Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi says that the Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team will not go to India to play the World Cup, an agreement has already been reached on this.
Talking to the media after meeting the women’s cricket team players at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, Mohsin Naqvi said that the Pakistan women’s team will not go to India as per the agreement, India is the host and it will decide where to play. The PCB chairman said that we are ready to play anywhere except India.
Regarding the performance of the women’s team, he said that when the team plays as one, similar results are achieved. Women cricketers will get rewards, it is their right. It is for every team that they play as one, similar results will be achieved.
The Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board also congratulated the team for qualifying for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup. He appreciated the excellent performance of the women players in the tournament and also announced the prize money for the team.
