In the ninth match of PSL 10, Peshawar Zalmi defeated Multan Sultans by 120 runs to achieve their first victory of the season. In the match played in Rawalpindi, Zalmi captain Babar Azam won the toss and decided to bat first. Playing first, Peshawar Zalmi scored 227 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.
For Peshawar Zalmi, Tom Kohler-Kadmore scored 52 runs and Mohammad Haris scored 45 runs. Apart from them, Abdul Samad scored 40 runs, Hussain Talat 37 runs and Mitchell Owen scored 34 runs. Babar Azam and Saim Ayub scored 2 runs each. For Multan Sultans, David Willey, Michael Bracewell and Obaid Shah scored 2 runs each while Iftikhar Ahmed got 1 wicket.
Multan Sultans were bowled out for 107 runs while chasing a target of 228 runs. Usman Khan and Shai Hope were the top scorers for Multan Sultans with 44 and 20 runs respectively. Peshawar Zalmi fast bowler Ali Raza got 4 wickets, while Arif Yaqoob also got 3 wickets.
