In the 29th match of HBL Pakistan Super League 10, Lahore Qalandars defeated Peshawar Zalmi to qualify for the playoffs. The match played in Rawalpindi started late due to wind and rain and the match was reduced to 13 overs. Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and decided to field first.
Batting first, Lahore Qalandars scored 149 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 13 overs. Fakhar Zaman scored 60 runs, Mohammad Naeem scored 22 runs, Asif Ali scored 18 runs and Kushal Perera scored 17 runs for Lahore Qalandars. Ahmed Daniyal, Ali Raza and Daniel Sims got two wickets each for Peshawar Zalmi.
Chasing Lahore Qalandars’ target of 150 runs, Peshawar Zalmi’s team could only manage 123 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 13 overs. Daniel Sims scored 26 runs and Ahmed Daniyal scored 24 runs. Lahore Qalandars defeated Peshawar Zalmi by 26 runs and qualified for the playoffs.
