The lineup for the HBL Pakistan Super League 10 playoffs has been completed. On Sunday, in the 29th match of PSL 10, Lahore Qalandars defeated Peshawar Zalmi to qualify for the playoffs, after which the 4 teams that will reach the next stage of the event were also decided.

The match played in Rawalpindi started late due to wind and rain and the match was reduced to 13 overs. Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and decided to field first. Batting first, Lahore Qalandars scored 149 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 13 overs.

Chasing Lahore Qalandars’ target of 150 runs, Peshawar Zalmi’s team managed to score 123 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 13 overs. Lahore defeated Zalmi by 26 runs to qualify for the playoffs, while Karachi Kings, Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators had already reached the play-off stage.

After losing to Lahore Qalandars, Babar Azam’s Peshawar Zalmi was eliminated from the tournament, while Multan Sultans, who had already reached the play-off stage, were out of the race. This is the first time that the Peshawar Zalmi team has failed to qualify for the PSL playoffs.

Looking at the PSL 10 points table, Quetta Gladiators are at the top with 15 points after playing all 10 matches of the first phase. Karachi Kings are second with 12 points from 9 matches, Lahore Qalandars are third with 11 points from all 10 matches. Islamabad United are fourth on the points table with 10 points from 9 matches.
