PSL 11: Lahore Qalandars Out of Playoff Race, Hyderabad Kingsmen Qualify.

Hyderabad Kingsmen Defeated Rawalpindi by 108 Runs to each the playoff stage. In the match played at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi, Rawalpindi won the toss and decided to field first. Hyderabad Kingsmen scored 244 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs while batting first. Glenn Maxwell batted aggressively for Hyderabad and scored 70 runs off 37 balls. Apart from them, Usman Khan and Kusal Perera stood out by scoring 54 and 50 runs respectively.

Chasing a target of 245 runs, Rawalpindi were bowled out for 136 runs in 17.1 overs. Usman Khawaja put up a strong fight for Rawalpindi, remaining unbeaten on 66 runs, but no one could support him and Rawalpindi’s wickets fell like leaves. For Hyderabad Kingsmen, Haneen Shah took 4 wickets and Akif Javed took 3 wickets. It is worth noting that Rawalpindi were bowled out for 136 runs in reply to the target of 245 runs. Due to Hyderabad Kingsmen reaching the playoffs, defending champions Lahore Qalandars were eliminated from the event.
