Karachi: Peshawar Zalmi easily defeated Islamabad United by 70 runs in the qualifiers of Pakistan Super League Season 11 and qualified for the final. In the match played in Karachi, Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan won the toss and invited Peshawar Zalmi to bat. Peshawar Zalmi scored 221 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Babar Azam stood out by scoring 103 runs off 59 balls. In addition, Muhammad Haris played an innings of 35, Kusal Mendis played an innings of 41 runs while Aaron Hardy scored 20 runs. Shadab Khan got 3 and Richard Gleeson got 2 wickets for Islamabad United.

In reply, Islamabad United were bowled out for 151 runs in pursuit of Peshawar Zalmi’s target of 222 runs. Sameer Minhas was the top scorer with 44 runs. Aaron Hardy took 3 wickets, Sufyan Muqeem and Muhammad Basit took 2 wickets each for Zalmi, thus Peshawar Zalmi reached the final of PSL 11. Peshawar Zalmi qualified for the PSL final for the fifth time.
