Peshawar Zalmi topped the points table Lahore: In the Pakistan Super League 11, Peshawar Zalmi easily defeated Karachi Kings by 7 wickets. In the match played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Karachi Kings won the toss and decided to bat first against Peshawar Zalmi. Karachi Kings scored 182 runs for 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Jason Roy was outstanding with 85 runs. Azam Khan scored 35 runs. Peshawar Zalmi’s young fast bowler Ali Raza completed a hat-trick in the last 3 balls of the innings and got a total of 4 wickets in the match. In reply, Peshawar Zalmi easily achieved Karachi’s target of 183 runs in the 19th over with the loss of 3 wickets thanks to the brilliant batting of Kushal Mendis. Kushal Mendis scored 80 runs and Farhan Yousuf scored 58 runs for Peshawar Zalmi and remained unbeaten. Thus, Peshawar Zalmi maintained their first position on the table by winning their 8th win in the event.
