Riyadh (Kamran Ashraf) Saudi Arabia will make history by hosting WWE’s flagship event, WrestleMania 43, as part of Riyadh Season in 2027. This marks the first time the iconic wrestling festival will be staged outside North America since its inception in 1985.
Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, said the Kingdom is committed to elevating WrestleMania to “unprecedented heights” and delivering a spectacle unlike any the world has seen.
WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque praised Saudi Arabia’s partnership with WWE, calling the GEA “phenomenal partners” who have already helped bring blockbuster events like Crown Jewel, Elimination Chamber, and King & Queen of the Ring to Riyadh.
Saudi Arabia is fast becoming a hub for professional wrestling, with events consistently selling out major venues since WWE’s arrival in 2018. The announcement reinforces the Kingdom’s growing role in the global sports and entertainment industry.
WrestleMania 42 will first return to Las Vegas in April 2026, before Riyadh takes the stage for WrestleMania 43 the following year.
