Pakistan’s star batsman Babar Azam equaled the record for most ODI centuries by a Pakistani batsman. By scoring a century in the second ODI against Sri Lanka, Babar Azam equaled Saeed Anwar’s national record, who had scored 20 ODI centuries for Pakistan in 244 innings.
Babar Azam scored his 20th ODI century in his 136th innings, becoming the third player to complete 20 centuries in the fewest innings. Earlier, South Africa’s Hashim Amla scored his 20th century in 108 innings and India’s Virat Kohli scored his 20th century in 133 innings.
