ICC Approves Use of Pink Ball in Test Matches

The use of pink ball has been approved to save time due to poor lighting in Test matches. The International Cricket Council Board Meetings announcement was issued. According to the announcement, pink ball can be used on a trial basis with the consent of both teams, innings break in T20 matches will be 15 minutes. In the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2028 to be hosted by Pakistan, India’s matches will be held at neutral venues, while the ICC Women’s Champions Trophy 2027 will be played from February 14 to 28, not in June-July.
