India defeated Pakistan in the semi-final of the U-18 Asia Cup Hockey Tournament and qualified for the final. The second semi-final of the ongoing U-18 Hockey Asia Cup in Japan was played between Pakistan and India, in which arch-rivals India defeated Pakistan by 5 goals to 3. In the 12th minute of the game, India got a penalty stroke, on which Ashish Tani scored to take the lead. In the second quarter, Pakistan’s Adeel scored a beautiful goal to level the match, and the match was tied at one goal each until half-time. The game picked up speed in the third quarter and India scored again to take the lead, but soon Pakistan scored 2 goals up and down to take a 2-3 lead. In the fourth and final quarter, the Pakistan team could not present a better game and India’s Ashish Tani scored 3 goals in a row. Ashish Tani scored 4 goals, including a hat-trick.
