The ICC has announced a record prize money for the Women’s Cricket World Cup. The total prize money for the event has been set at 13.88 million dollars That’s over 3.92 billion Pakistani rupees. The prize money is almost 4 times more than the 2022 edition.
The winning team of the World Cup will receive more than Rs 1.26 billion. The runner-up will be given a prize of more than Rs 633.9 million. Each team participating in the tournament will receive at least Rs 70.7 million. The Women’s World Cup will begin in India and Sri Lanka after September 2025.
