LAHORE : The training camps of Sports Board Punjab teams were in progress on Wednesday for the preparation of upcoming Inter-Provincial Quaid-e-Azam Games.
Expert coaches imparted intensive training to male and female players at various camps being organized at different venues of Nishtar Park Sports Complex.
Director General Sports Punjab Khizar Afzaal Chaudhry inspected the training camps of various games at Nishtar Park Sports Complex. He appreciated the performance of the players and asked about the facilities being provided to them at the training camps.
The male and female players were taught modern squash techniques by the coaches at Punjab Squash Complex. Young swimmers are being trained by expert coach Rafi-uz-Zaman at Punjab International Swimming Complex.
Similarly, the javelin throw players and other athletes did their practice under the watchful eyes of coaches at the Punjab Football Stadium.
The qualified coaches engaged table tennis and badminton male and female players in practice matches at the NPSC gymnasium hall to test their match fitness.
