The 15-member Pakistan squad for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup has been announced. Fatima Sana will captain the national team in the ODI World Cup for the first time. The 15-member squad of the national women’s team will also play 3 ODIs in South Africa.
The Women’s Cricket World Cup is scheduled to be held in India and Sri Lanka from September 30 to November 2. All of Pakistan’s matches will be held in Sri Lanka. Natalia Pervez, Ramin Shamim, Sadaf Shams, Sadia Iqbal, Shawal Zulfiqar, Syeda Arob Shah will be playing in the ODI World Cup for the first time.
The squad includes Fatima Sana (captain), Muniba Ali Siddiqui, Alia Riaz, Diana Baig, Iman Fatima, Nashra Sindhu, Natalia Parvez, Umaima Sohail, Ramin Shamim, Sadaf Shams, Sadia Iqbal, Shawal Zulfiqar, Sidra Amin, Sidra Nawaz and Syeda Orub Shah. In addition, the non-traveling reserves include Gul Feroza, Najiha Alvi, Tuba Hassan, Umme Hani and Waheeda Akhtar.
