In the second semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy, New Zealand set a target of 363 runs to South Africa for victory. In the match being played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, New Zealand won the toss against South Africa and decided to bat first.
Rachin Ravindra and Kane Williamson scored brilliant centuries for New Zealand, both of whom put on a 164-run partnership for the second wicket. Ravindra scored 108 runs, Kane Williamson also played an innings of 102 runs with the help of 2 sixes and 10 fours, Daryl Mitchell was dismissed for 49 runs and Phillips remained unbeaten by scoring 49 runs.
It should be noted that India has already qualified for the final of the tournament by defeating Australia in the first semi-final.
