Bangladesh defeated Pakistan by 104 runs in the first Test match. Chasing a target of 268 runs, Pakistan team was bowled out for 163 runs. Pakistan’s first wicket against Bangladesh fell for 3 runs. Pakistan had to suffer the second loss in the form of Azan Owais who was dismissed for 15 runs. Later, Shan Masood 2, Abdullah Fazal 66 and Salman Agha 26, Saud Shakeel 15, Hassan Khan 12, Hasan Ali one while Noman Ali returned to the pavilion after scoring four runs. In the match played in Mirpur, Bangladesh declared their second innings at 240 for 9 on the fifth day of play.In Bangladesh’s second innings, captain Najamul Hassan Shinto scored 87 and Mominul Haq scored 56 runs. For Pakistan, Hasan Ali and Noman Ali got 3 wickets each, Shaheen Afridi got 2 and Muhammad Abbas got one wicket. Bangladesh scored 413 runs in the first innings, in response to which the Pakistan team was bowled out for 386 runs in its first innings.
