Imam-ul-Haq hit by ball in face while batting.

National team opener Imam-ul-Haq was hit by a ball in the face while running while batting in the third and final ODI against New Zealand.

In a match played in Mount Maunganui, while Pakistan was batting, a ball thrown by a fielder to Imam-ul-Haq went through the grill of his helmet and hit him in the face. Imam-ul-Haq retired hurt and left the field due to the ball hitting his face.

Team management says that the ball hit Imam-ul-Haq’s jaw. According to team management, Imam-ul-Haq was given medical care at the emergency center on the ground. If necessary, Imam-ul-Haq will be taken to the hospital.
