South Africa scored 82 runs for 3 wickets against Pakistan.

In response to Pakistan’s 211 runs in the first innings of the first Test, South Africa scored 82 runs for the loss of 3 wickets at the end of the first day. South Africa won the toss and decided to field.

The entire team of Pakistan was dismissed by scoring 211 runs against South Africa. National team opener captain Shan Masood scored 17 runs, Saim Ayub scored 14 runs, Babar Azam scored 4 runs and Saud Shakeel scored 14 runs while Kamran Ghulam scored 54 runs and Mohammad Rizwan scored 27 runs. Salman Agha played an innings of 18 runs and Aamir Jamal played 28 runs, Khurram Shehzad was out for 11 runs. Carbon Bosch, who made his Test debut for Africa, took 4 wickets.

Tristan Stubbs for 9, Ryan Rickleton for 8 and Tony de Zorze for 2 were dismissed for South Africa. Aiden Markram 47 and Tamba Bavuma are not out with 4 runs. For Pakistan, Khurram Shehzad dismissed 2 players and Mohammad Abbas took one wicket.
