Bangladesh announces squad for series against Netherlands and Asia Cup T20 tournament. The Bangladesh Cricket Board on Friday announced a 16-member squad for the 3-match home T20 series against the Netherlands and the Asia Cup 2025. Liton Das will captain the team.
The Bangladesh team will play a 3-match T20 series against the Netherlands, which will be played in Bangladesh from August 30 to September 3. On the other hand, the Asia Cup will be played in the United Arab Emirates from September 9 to 28.
Bangladesh’s squad includes Liton Das (captain), Tanzeed Hasan, Parvez Hossain, Saif Hasan, Towhid Hari Doy, Zakir Ali, Shamim Hossain, Qazi Noorul Hasan, Mehdi Hasan, Rishad Hossain, Naseem Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman, Tanzeem Hasan, Taskin Ahmed, Sharif Islam and Saifuddin.
Bangladesh has been placed in Group B in the Asia Cup. The team will play its first match against Hong Kong on September 11, followed by Sri Lanka on September 13 and Afghanistan on September 16.
