In light of the Bangladesh team’s decision not to travel to India for the ICC T20 World Cup, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has expressed interest in hosting Bangladesh’s matches. According to PCB sources, if venues in Sri Lanka are unavailable, Pakistan’s venues are ready to host the games. The sources stated that Pakistan has already successfully hosted the Champions Trophy and ICC Women’s Qualifiers, and World Cup matches can also be conducted smoothly. PCB officials added that all Pakistani venues are fully prepared to host T20 World Cup matches.
It is worth noting that Bangladesh has decided not to travel to India for its World Cup matches due to security concerns raised by the Bangladesh Cricket Board. However, the ICC is yet to make a final decision on whether Bangladesh’s matches will be relocated.
