Former national team captains Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi have been demoted in Test rankings.

The International Cricket Council has released a new Test ranking in which former captain Babar Azam, former captain Shaheen Shah Afridi and the vice-captain of the Test team Saud Shakeel have been demoted.

In the Test Batter Rankings, vice-captain Saud Shakeel has moved down one place to ninth place and Babar Azam has moved down one place to 19th place. Shaheen Shah Afridi also could not maintain his position in the ranking of bowlers. After dropping one rank, they moved from 15th to 16th.

The hero of the Test series against England, spinner bowler Nauman Ali has dropped out of the top ten positions after being demoted two places and his position has become 11th.
