Pakistan U-18 hockey team reached semi-finals of U-18 Asia Cup hockey tournament after defeating Bangladesh. The last match of Pool B of the ongoing event in Japan was played between Pakistan and Bangladesh, in which Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by 5 goals to 2. In the third minute, Abdullah gave Pakistan the lead, in the twelfth minute, Muna Islam equalized the match. No team could score a goal in the second quarter, in the third quarter, Adeel scored the second goal for Pakistan, but three minutes later, Bangladesh equalized the match again. In the 39th minute, Pakistan got a penalty stroke, on which Haider Aisam scored a goal. After this, Abdullah Awan and Muhammad Yahya scored field goals to give Pakistan a 5-2 victory.
